It's been a few more weeks since I've written. I've been really bad about keeping this updated. :) I'll break it down per person!
Mike- He's kicking weight's butt & I'm proud. He's sticking to his eating plan & I'm surprised how strict he is with himself. He got the permanent profile & HOPEFULLY will pass the PT test this coming up week. He also needs to get his army driver's license for his Ft. Irwin trip. He'll leave Saturday or Sunday for a month training thing at Ft. Irwin. It makes me sad. We haven't been separated since we moved here. I know it's only a month but it's weird. Kinda emotional.
Me- Well..... eating right & exercise.....not going so well. I'm trying to eat right but it's been hard. Certain foods just don't sounds good anymore & it's hard to eat them. I also can't eat as much as I use too. If I over stuff, I get sick. Exercise! Yeah..... I have been so exhausted for the last 10-ish days. The first whole week we were back I was a cleaning machine. My house had to be clean & everyday I cleaned something. Good cleaning too. Last week, it took work just to do the minimum stuff & it hasn't really gotten better. I'm keeping up on laundry & dishes. Still cooking dinner & all the normal wifely stuff. Just nothing extra. I'm going to try my best to do Curves M,W,F and do our gym dates those days too. I will try to make myself walk the dogs in between those 2 things. I can & I will do this. I've lost a few lbs since getting back too. Not as much as I'd hope but oh well. I'm still about 3 lbs away from 40 lost. And if I kick butt this week I may get close. My regular doctor I love went on vacation in November & I got transferred to another one. Tomorrow is my first appt with a new one. I have high hopes! :)
This year has started out great & I know it'll continue to be great. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Oh, Hersh & Cinn are good. Spoiled brats still. :)

Hello!
It's been a while since I wrote. Not too much going on but I'll summarize what's been happening the last few weeks.
Home for Christmas. It was great but got old quick. We spent lots of time with family & even took the nephews to a children's museum. I could go way farther into the nephews & our experiences but I shall not. Not all were good. Christmas didn't feel the same as it use too and Mike & I aren't sure we'll go back this year. We may do our own thing here for Christmas. I tried to stay on the healthy eating kick but it was hard with going back & forth between families' homes. I managed to only gain back 3 lbs overall. We did walk a few times, at least 25% of the time. Which isn't great but better than nada!
Mike has joined the healthy eating kick. I've had a hard time getting back into it though. I'm trying though & am doing mostly good. I've gone to the gym once but honestly it's been hectic for the last week. My gym buddy had an appt on Friday so we went Thursday. I had medical stuff going on yesterday so we couldn't go then. We are going Wednesday & Friday and will continue M,W,F every week unless someone has an appt or whatever. I'm starting Curves again tomorrow too. 5 am wake up. Yucky! Haha! I will get back into the hang of it. I want to get healthy for myself & any future kids we may have. It's really important to me. Oh, I had my lowest weigh-in last Friday. I was .1 away from 36 lbs lost. Hoping I lose 1-2 more this week. My goal is 40 by Feb 3rd! :)

Happy December!!! I'm so excited because the countdown is on! In 17 hours or so we should be on the road. First to sign out on leave, then Bye Bye AZ! 29 whole days of gloriousness! I can't wait to see our families and spend time in CALIFORNIA! Home Sweet Home! Until I've had enough & then I'll be ready for Home Sweet Az Home! Haha! Yay Yay Yay!
Mike~ Mike's been doing well. He had to weigh in on Wednesday & he ended up at 1% under which is great! He's been running & going to the gym. Not sure if it was for weight loss or for reals but hopefully he keeps it up back home. He's been thinking about his future in the army & he's been throwing around some things. Drill Sergeant & Warrant Officer are the 2 biggies as far as I know. Either way he'll have to get into amazing shape! Health wise he's improving which is great. Finally!!!
Me~ I've lost 35 lbs so far which YAY! Each month I lose less & less though. It's been a roller coaster the last 2 months. I lose for 2 weeks, then gain. 2 months ago it was lose, lose, gain, stay. This month it was Lose, lose, GAIN, LOSE! I lost 2.5 the first 2 weeks, then gained 4 during Thanksgiving, but lost big last week. 35! I'm in denial a little. I keep thinking of a number I want to get too and I've surpassed it. I think "oh, I so want to get to ***" but I'm 10 lbs less than that now. It hasn't clicked. It helps that still wearing the same sizes. Some shirts are looser and they don't look good anymore but I can't stand tight or figure forming. It's a double edge sword. I worry so much about being home & not having my strict schedule. I gained 4 lbs in 4 days 2 weeks ago. I got lazy with my family here and now we're going to be home for a MONTH! It's going to be hard!
Dogs~ Cinnamon has been acting out lately. Getting into all kinds of trouble. She has been more cuddly with me, more of a momma dog. She still is & will always be a daddy's dog but she has her momma time. Hersh has been very close the last few days. He knows the routine, he knows what suitcases mean. He's been on us like a hawk since yesterday. Mike loaded the bags into the car last night so he's going to be on us even worse. Good thing we don't have to leave during the day because I know they'd act out badly.
Anywho, I'm not sure how often I'll post updates but I probably will. We have MAJOR plans this month. Going to a Raider's Game!!! Taking our nephews to the ZOO! Going Skiing (I'll be reading in the lodge)! Lots & Lots of Family time. Including CHRISTMAS! Our weekends will be packed. This weekend with be Cosgrave Time, Next Weekend is the Raider's Game, the one after is Christmas, & the last one is NEW YEARS and basically the end of our time. It'll make the time go by even faster. We'll have to fit in zoo & skiing during a week sometime. Haha. :) Love it!!!

Anniversary
Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary! We beat the odds & proved many wrong. We still love each other & are in love with each other. 8 years ago I married my high school sweetheart & my soulmate! My Everything!

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him & I can't wait to see where life & the army takes us! It's been a journey & I know it will continue to be a wild ride.

November!
November Rocks!!! I know it's going to be the best month of 2011. The 1st was our baby boy's 8th birthday, the 8th is our 8th Wedding Anniversary, the 15th is our baby girl's 3rd birthday! Also, we have a nephew's birthday, my sister's birthday, & best yet, THANKSGIVING!!! My family is coming for Thanksgiving! Super yay! So excited, this month ROCKS!!!
Mike: he's still trying to get all that health mess taken care of. He did get a temporary profile so no PT test for another 90 days which is good I guess. Hopefully by Feb all this stuff will be taken care of & he'll either be on the right meds or he'll get the permanent profile. Getting the temp. profile has taken a lot of stress off of him & me. Without it he would've had to pass the PT test by the end of this month, 3 1/2 weeks away, so as to not get a poor evaluation come January. So, we are breathing easier now. ;)
Me: I joined a 90 mile November(Movember) challenge. Oh my gosh!!! Last month was not great for losing weight. My least favorite aunt finally showed & I gain a lb, then the next week I wasn't able to kick that lb back off. I was disappointed because I thought I did good last week. Oh well I suppose. This week is a new week & I'm kicking ASS! I still do my normal stuff (walking) but I started a few weeks ago going to the gym also. I started mainly to keep a friend company so she'd go but now I look forward to it. Last week I was walking 3-4 miles a day, this week I'm walking 4-6 a day. Talk about exhausting! My eating is super on point this week too. I did have 2 mini candy bars on halloween but come on! The bowl was in my lap! Well, we had pizza on monday too. Ok, Tues-today has been ON POINT! I keep getting cravings after dinner. Buttered bread, candy, junk I guess. Mike bought Autumn Harvest ice cream from Schwann's last night. It is pumpkin ice cream with cinnamon & pecans! Not big on nuts in ice cream but pumpkin & cinnamon! I am going to DEVOUR it tomorrow night!!! I knew if we tried it last night I would've wanted a full scoop. I can't wait to taste it! :) Fri-Sun are my not so strict days. I try to still be pretty strict on Friday but we've been having girl lunches so it's kinda hard to eat healthy with all that yummy food around. ;) I am trying to pay more attention to food on the weekends too. I had really slipped on actually still trying to eat veggies. I had gone into total pigging out on the weekends. Trying not to do that anymore. :) It's just so tasty to pig out though. :) So though I am discouraged by only losing 4 lbs last month, I am still 25 lbs lighter. I'm not using diet pills, shake diets, or got surgery. I am doing this the natural way, diet & exercise(ing my ass off). I'm so ready to hit 50 lbs!
